Sunday Afternoon

Yeah, it is Thursday night and I am just now getting to what we did on Sunday. Sorry for the delay. For some reason, my computer apparently has a problem uploading more than 3 photos at a time. It used to be that I could do 5 at a time, and then 4. Now it is 3. I don't know why and it is annoying, but at least you can enjoy these three!

After church on Sunday, our little family of 5 (including Tucker) headed up to the Snowys. On the way we enjoyed the beautiful colors of fall. The aspens were all colors of yellow, orange, and red. I love the way they sometimes snake their way down the mountains. They are never even noticeable until they are dressed in the bright colors of autumn. We continued on past all the aspens to the very top of the mountains. There we got out and enjoyed a hike together. We hoped to see some wildlife, but there were none to be found. But that was OK because we were on top of the world together and we had a fine time!

Lil tells me stories all the time of Sean when he was a little boy and how he would pick up a stick and hit everything in sight with it. To a little boy a stick is a weapon and EVERYTHING in his path must be killed. Funny how I never remember doing this as a child! Lets just say that Tyler is following nicely in his father's footsteps.

At least he closes his eyes so the disintegrating stick doesn't get in them out in the middle of nowhere!

Weston had a good time in my new snuggli backpack. He was one tired little man after only about a 20 min nap on Saturday. He didn't get much more on Sunday either, but he was still as happy as ever. We hiked for a little over an hour and then headed back home and to church again. It was a nice little break from the busyness of life.
