We have been telling him for months now that he will love riding his bike without training wheels. He has been saying that when he is 5 he will learn how to do it. But he was scared to take that first step, or pedal as it were! So Sean finally just had to take the training wheels off and make him do it. It took two days of practicing before he had it down. He rode several times without Sean hanging on and didn't even know it, and then all of a sudden, it dawned on him that he was doing it all on his own. He is so proud!! He loves his new freedom!

This is pretty cool!!
Now he tells me every day that he needs to practice riding his bike so he won't forget. I don't have the heart to tell him that once he has it down, he isn't going to forget. We both enjoy the time outside and so far, he hasn't missed a day of practice. We are so proud of him! We are also looking forward to many bike rides in the very soon future!
