Party Time!

Saturday+the 4th of July+a 4 year old boy=PARTY TIME!!! We had a great day! In the morning we headed over to Washington park where they always have a ton of stuff to do on the 4th. Tyler got a dragon painted on his arm and got to go down the blow-up slide and jump on the blowup jumping thing and eat a pizza while listening to live music. We got free cookies and ice cream and saw a bunch of people we knew. Then we headed home to get ready for the party. This is the Spiderman cake I made for Tyler. It was quite appropriate for the day as it was red, white, and blue!

Tyler sang along with us and blew out his candle like a pro.

Then it was time for presents. He got this cool sprinkler thing from Aunt Jo and Uncle Tom that squirts water and blows out balls, but it was too cold and rainy yesterday to use it. We are looking forward to a nicer day! He got "Adventures in Odyssey" from Mookey and Grandad which he loves to listen to in the car, and he also got matchbox cars from Aunt Jean and Josh. A boy can never have too many matchbox cars! He was quite pleased with his presents! Thanks to all of you!

He and Weston had to go to the doctor today for their 4 year and 6 month checkups and here are their numbers.

Tyler

• 36 lbs (49%)
• 42 1/4 " (86%) He grew 3 1/4" in one year! I cannot believe how much he has grown!

Weston

• 18 lb 14 oz (74%) He is still a chubby baby!
• 26 3/4" (63%)

The FNP said they were both doing great and she is amazed at their developmental skills. She even said that Weston's sleeping issues are normal for a baby of his age. They may be normal, but I am getting a little tired, literally!! But I am so thankful to have such healthy kiddos!
