We had Asher dedicated to the Lord on January 16, 2011. For those of you who don't know what a dedication is, it is a time when we as a family promise to raise a baby in a Christian home and to take every opportunity to bring him up in the Lord. The church also promises to be a good example for him and to do their best to teach him right from wrong. It does not save a baby, each individual person has to make that decision for themselves. But it is a time of celebrating a new life and promising to take the best care of that life we can. Here is Asher and Mookey (Weston took this picture and cut off her head!) right before he was dedicated. Such a handsome little man!
